I just finished watching the premiere of the American Life on Mars remake and I must say that it has improved infinitely over the early version I saw several months back. Granted, thatapos;s largely because it became a shot for shot remake, but Iapos;m not really complaining. It threw in some of its own nuances that intrigued me. I highly approve of the move to New York, the recasting of Gene Hunt, and better use of Annieapos;s character. Iapos;m going to give future episodes a shot and see where it goes.

John Simm will always be Sam in my mind though.
